This is probably a long shot. But I wanted to put something out there-
I want land.
I want space to park my RV. A nice grassy yard where my daughter can play. I want to live in greater harmony with nature; to live in awe of its abundance. And to grow more of my own food. I want to live a more holistically spiritual life, and to have land that is conducive to that end, for both myself and others.
I have other ideas for what this land could be. Where I could rent rooms. Or to build fun off-grid glamp sites for short term rentals (glamp farm!), or maybe even land where yoga or spiritual retreats could be hosted.
But first and foremost- I simply wanted to share my intentions of wanting land. As this vision will currently be limited by my own means, but could exponentially improve with the right partners.
Would you potentially:
1. Want to partner on buying a property?
2. Or do you already own land you'd be interested in me buying into or leasing?
3. Or once I have a property, would you want to rent a room or a space on the property to be a part of the community?
Again, I recognize this is a total long shot to find partners for this project. But I'd like to buy something sooner than later, within the next year, ideally. So I thought I'd put the feelers out. As I feel the right partners could make this project that much better!
My main requirement/hope is that I'd like the location to be within 30 minutes of Everett, WA. Probably my favorite property that has caught my eye so far already sold in November 2021: https://www.redfin.com/WA/Stanwood/15819-30th-Ave-NW-98292/home/2802860
The property was 4.4 acres near Lake Goodwin with a nice 3 bed 2 bath main house, a 100% self-contained tiny house (the little green building), and a large shop that had work space plus an additional full kitchen and bathroom, and loft with room to easily finish more bedrooms upstairs.
The property was peaceful. And had a nice mixture of trees and open grassy space. There was even more grass out of the frame in the above photo, and a cute gazebo hiding in the trees. It could also comfortably accommodate 6+ cars without double parking anyone. The property sold for $825,000. $25,000 under the asking price. Gotta love fall finds.
Of course, there are other properties that are closer to Everett, or have more land, or are cheaper, etc etc. Who knows what could ultimately be the right fit?
Please reach out if this general idea is something that interests you! I recognize many boundaries and expectations would need to ultimately be clarified, but I really just wanted to put out a general vision to see if it resonates with anyone.
I hope to hear from you.
